Why is there a break key on my keyboard?
Like if I wanted to break my keyboard I would just pick it up and smash it myself, personally. Is it there for spies or anyone who needs a burner keyboard so Police can't find finger prints, but the spy can still use computers. Anyone pressed it accidentally and had no idea what was happening? This is such a stupid function to allow household computers to have. I'm so scared to press it, I actually have it taped down so I won't accidentally hit it.

Don't know if this is a troll question or not but incase you're serious that break key is to begin a new line when typing. It won't break your keyboard.

Yup, like Siwakorn said, it was included back in the DOS days to stop the computer from scrolling lines of text across the screen so you can pause it and read it, or pressing ctrl-pause caused the DOS program to exit. I used it all the time in programming when my programs would crash.
