Changing my hotmail password will it directly affect my win 10 password?

Using win 10 I have to login with my Microsoft password. Which is the same one I use for my Hotmail account.

So my question is if I modify my Hotmail password will it automatically update my win 10 login password?

    Yes. It is (or it SHOULD be) the same account.
