Whether a Vet gives a 4 in 1 vaccine or a 6 in one vaccine depends on what's included in that particular vaccine. In fact, some are 5 in 1 vaccines. Ask your Vet what's included in the vaccine that they use, and then you can decide if you want that vaccine given or a different vaccine that might not include a couple of things. For an example, you might not want your Vet to give your puppy the *Lepto* vaccine and not all puppy vaccinations include Corona either. Educate yourself about this type of thing, and in a matter of fact, besides looking at the link I provided, use your search engine to look up the protocol that Dr. Jean Dodds recommends. With that said and depending on what's covered in the vaccine, the puppy vaccines are the exact same vaccines that are given to an adult dog, the same way as a 1 year Rabies vaccine is the same exact vaccine as a 3 year vaccine. Depending on what the laws are where you live, you may be required to vaccinate an adult dog for Rabies every year, but where I live, we are only required to get our dogs vaccinated for Rabies every 3 years. Again, both vaccines are exactly the same.

Oh, and depending in what's in the vaccine, the vaccine may be called DA2PP or DHLPP or DHLPP+Corona, for examples.
