people always disappoint me! I give everything in a friendship... am i wrong?

There are always strings attached to that sort of giving. It's basically trying to buy the other person's love. And it creates an imbalance in the friendship. It makes the other person uncomfortable. You give according to the level of the friendship, wherever stage that happens to be at any particular time. If you gave way more than what was appropriate, it would be like going to the store and trying to pay way more for something than it costs. They would wonder what you were trying to pull. Plus, they would always feel that they owed you something, and no one likes to be in that position.

People do that constantly, we aren't all perfect like you!
