So, friend! Who's going to win that big sports event this year?

(Hadn't seen this 'til jus' now...) And yes, this California weather is a feature unto itself.

I fled from any real interest in pretty much all sports except for the terrific thing known as Baseball

at some point middish-teen years.

As for the why, I'll well spare you the rigamorole

although at times I might glue to some Football on a whim or cajole.

There's talk (snoozefest!) about "a Chicago series" this year. When isn't there this mumblage?

Go Cubs, in that case, but that's the underdog spirit in many of us.

Know I sound "diplomatic bore" on this, but for me, I'm after intense taking-in of a great game,

though admittedly, there are a handful of teams I'd rather not. Etc.
