How may an unusually warm Autumn affect dissolved oxygen levels.?

The warmer the water the less dissolved oxygen it can hold. Add in decaying leaves, the microorganisms using oxygen in the process, is part of what is called biological oxygen demand (BOD) further lowers the oxygen level at higher rates in the warmer water.
