would you expect to find more or fewer hydrogen ions (H+) in a solution of pH 6 compared to a solution with a pH of 3?

    A solution of pH 6 has 1 x 10^-6 H+ ions and a pH of 3 has 1 x 10^-3 H= ions. So, by definition there are 1,000 more H+ ions in the pH 3 solution.
