What kind of clutch should i use for my chainsaw?
So I have this chainsaw partially taken apart and I want to put it on a bike- what I'm wondering is what clutch I should use. Should I use the stock one, rig something up, or shop for one somewhere (if so where)? I'm thinking about rigging up a timing belt with a pulley and a bike rim, if that makes a difference.

A chainsaw already has a centrifugal clutch built into it, this is what stops the chain spinning when the engine is idling.
What you need to work out is how to replace the chain sprocket with a pulley, and then working out your gearing The chainsaw will want to run at 8,000+ rpm so it will need to be geared way down to drive a bicycle.

personally I think you would be wasting your time................you + the weight of the bicycle will be too much for that small engine
