Are my friends right about this situation? who is right?

My friends and I went to the movies like 5 times. And all 5 times, I fell asleep halfway through during the movie. I have a hard time staying awake. My friends talked to me about it before but I just can t stay awake. They also agreed that they will not be taking me to the movies anymore. Their explanation is that I am paying $14 to watch the movie and you end up falling asleep so you don t get the full value of the movie ticket.

1. Is my friends being mean? They won t take me to the movie theater anymore.

2. Is what they said correct? that I shouldn t go to the movie theaters anymore because it s not going to worth my money.

3. If one of your friend always fall asleep in the movie theatre, would you wake them up? How would you solve the situation?

Update:

I never snore when I sleep so I don't see how come my friends don't want to take me to the movie theatre anymore.

4. If you were my friend, would you still take me to the movie theatre knowing that I would fall asleep halfway through?

Update 2:

and I do enjoy the movie. It is just hard for me to stay awake still.

Damn 14$ tickets, Dude your friends are just making a use less point, they don't want you to waste your money, I would honestly do this to my friends too, because i would want them to get the most out of their movie experience. I don't think they are being mean, and if you don't care about wasting 14 go to your local pharmacy and buy two monsters for 4.49$ before the movie see if that works. Other than that just tell them to come to ur house to watch the a movie where they won't care because the movie is free.

Hmm... I'm sorry about this. I'd honestly see you as "that friend who always falls asleep at the theater." If I had the opportunity of inviting you OR someone else who doesn't fall asleep during the movies, I'd invite that someone else. Why? Because it just seems more logical... I'd be inviting someone who is actually going to enjoy the movie and not just fall asleep. If you're paying for your own ticket, they should still invite, what's the problem? But if they're the ones paying for your ticket, it might feel like a waste of money since you don't really see the whole movie. Also, maybe it just annoys them to invite you and not see you enjoy it.

Lmao omg I fall asleep during movies too! My friends just laugh about it though but I'm probably a lot older than I guys. Tell them hey it's not that serious, life is too short for this to be a problem. Nobody cares about the value of a $14 ticket just have fun!

If i was you i would tell them that i dont go just to see the movie, that you really enjoy hanging out with them. even though you fall asleeps its still fun for you befor and after the movie.

Well, it depends on who pays. If I am paying for you, and you fall asleep, I would probably be upset. If you were paying for your own ticket, then I would have no issue with it. If I noticed, I would try to quietly wake you up. If you want to go, and will pay your own way, and you want to go with me I would go.
