Is it possible to to get a German girlfriend?

I ask this because i'm an American of Mexican descent and I know there's a lot of negative views towards people like me. But I'm a good guy, I'm pretty respectful of other cultures. So do you think I could start a relationship towards one? And also another thing I keep in mind is that due to this whole Syrian refugee thing I feel as if Germans are not so happy of visitors to their country right (would this complicate things for me?)

    I'm swedish but have german friends and visisted germany many times. Anything is possible but have to remember that you can't really generalize an entire group like that. Every girl like different things that includes german girls. But what I can say is that like most girls german girls also likes confidence and they like it when you approach them and don't be shy. Also Germany is a very well educated country so many german adults prefer intellectual conversations over boring small talk. Unlike women in other countries, German women are not used to getting a lot of compliments. In fact, it's well known that the average german man is bad at flirting.

    But that doesn't mean they don’t like the attention and romance. Bringing her a bouquet of flowers will warm her heart just like taking her out on a fancy restaurant.

    I also recommend you to study some german before going there. Altough most germans now can speak english knowing a few words in german will definitely be to your advantage and help you impress the ladies!

    Here is an example on how you can say a pick up line in german:

    Leute nennen mich John, aber Sie können mich anrufen heute Abend.
