How do I appeal that my answer has been deleted?
I click the place it says to click to appeal and then it says it can't open up. I hate this process and the way to stop my answers from senselessly being deleted and reported is unavailable. How do I do the appeal?

It depends on which country's version of YA you are on. If you are on a mobile device, go to desktop mode first
1. Left click or tap the gear pinwheel icon in the upper right corner
2. Tap "help"
https://help.yahoo.com/kb/answers
3. Click or tap "Help me Resolve an answers issue" YOU MAY NOT HAVE THAT OPTION on Yahoo & or Yahoo U.K. & Ireland.. i was going round and round on the U.K. & Ireland AND Yahoo & help pages several hours ago.

4. Left click or tap option 2 Appeals. if you are appealing the deletion of an answer. Select Appeal a comment deletion in the middle column.
5. Left click or tap either the "contact us"hyperlink or the email envelope icon to open the appeal page.
You have to put some text in each box. or the appeal will NOT submit
^. Copy the captcha code. The captca code WILL time out in 3 to 5 minutes, so you may have to copy new codes fast enough and then hit ht "request button. You should get an automatic default acknowledgment responce with an incident number, followed by an email from Yahoo with the incident number.
Don't listen to the people who tell you not to appeal. SOMEONE routed my appeal to Yahoo U.k. & Ireland and it was violation, and the violation WAS overturned in less than 6 hours. yes, i do know HO reported that answer.

If they report you as violating terms of service rather than community guidelines, you can't appeal. You might want to start posting anonymously and don't let people follow you so it's harder for them to find your answers.
I really wish yahoo would have live, thinking people evaluate deletions rather than just letting a bunch of haters report and delete.

carol has provided the correct link to appeal
community guidelines violations often have broken appeal links or say the post was not from your account
terms of service violations do not have an appeal link embedded - you need to use the alternative process - carol provided
