Extreme nausea during period- normal?
My period cramps are usually pretty bad, only on my first day though, throughout the rest of my period the pain is bearable. This morning I got my period and when I woke up, I felt terrible. I was extremely nauseaous to the point that I could barely stand up, walk or move. I had to crawl around to get things. I felt extremely weak, like I had no energy to do anything. I ended up taking 2 pills but this pain went on for about 2 hours and a half. It was horrible... I even threw up. This is the first time I've experienced nausea with period pain... is it normal? Should I tell my doctor about this? I feel better now, but the pain was excruciating a while ago.

I get the same way, except along with the nausea, I come done with a cold, EVERY SINGLE PERIOD. Many woman experience different period symptoms, mild to severe. Some can do whatever they please during, while others have to force themselves out of bed every morning. So I wouldn't say its completely abnormal. Although, I would still talk to your doctor, to see what they suggest, especially since you say the pain is debilitating.
