Would a pink floyd criss-cross hammer tattoo be offensive?
I'm planning on getting a pink floyd tattoo and I find the hammers appealing, but would it be racist or somewhat offensive because it symbolizes nazis marching in the 83' movie?

Hi,
Of course, people find anything to be offended about. And since the crossed hammers is, i believe the Floyd version of the Nazi logo (not going to attempt to ry and spell the Swaz... word), (when Pink had a hallucination of becoming a Nazi leader in the film) it is possible that some people will be offended by it.
But, only people who have watched the film The Wall, would get the reference, and if they have seen the film, then they obviously know what a masterpiece it is!
Not heard about that, but what Quentin said may be true, which of course would offend people.
It is fristraiting that today, we are scared of offending poeple, but that's the orld we ive in.
Have you thought of other tatoos to get?
Maybe:-
2 men shakign hands on WYWH album
The welcome to the machine logo thing (circle with robots hands shaking) and 4 differnt sections with differnt images inside)
Just "The Wall" or "Pink Floyd" in the font from the Wall
Or the prism from dark side
Or the Pig
Or have the hammers thing, and underneath have "pink floyd" so people definitely know its a pink Floyd reference?
So, in conlcusion, yes people may find it racist/offensive.
But, its up to you
