Help? Lost cat? She is indoor only and has a clubbed foot, so can't hunt. She is microchipped. Anything else I can do?

Update:

I've already put up signs and posted on FB to local friends and groups. She is very shy, small and fast. She's been gone about 12 hours. Just feel so helpless.

    Notify animal control and the shelter that she's missing. Go DOWN THERE to see if she's been picked up already. Check with the closest 4 vet clinics in case someone brings her in, and notify your vet. Also notify the chip company that she's missing, so nobody can try to change her info as a 'new owner'.

    Try scattering pieces of your clothing around in your yard and the area nearby. She can pick up on your scent and hopefully follow it home if she's lost and confused.

    If she is microchipped you can probably go to the vet and tell them what happened.

    put up posters in your neighbourhood & in local stores .
