Will red food coloring or hair dye get rid of the green in my hair?

I use purple hair dye to tone my blonde hair so I'm wondering if using red food coloring or hair dye mixed with conditioner would tone out the green stained in my hair.

I tried it, it worked.

    Unfortunately not, food colouring is not meant for hair- hence the title 'food colouring' if will dry and damage your hair

    I experienced blonde hair, and i died that black and people said i looked waaay better blonde because black makes my face look pail.
