Opposite of "widely"?

I'm using this phrase in an essay: "as speakers of a not widely spoken language" blah blah blah. It doesn't sound good. What's the word that would fit better than "not widely".

    A rare language or an obscure language, A little-known language. A language with a small base of speakers.
