SO sad.... a very sad day.

I wish they would show Ali at his prime as a tribute. ( I say Ali out of reverence, that is how he refereed to himself ) I grew up watching him. There was no one else like Ali. He was on a completely different level. Sure there were other good boxers, lots of very tough guys, but, Ali was a completely different level. He could go from being impossible to hit, impossible to trap, to stand in place and poke 'em in the face, while they could not touch him. Ali and Howard Cosell became a pair. Some humor for Ali fights.

Mr. Ali was a GREAT man, soft spoken most the time, sweet and funny often even when taunting opponents. He did so many great things for others, and gave much to the public as a gentleman. We all could learn from many examples he taught us.

I think one of the best tributes would be showing those nights he performed. Many are too young to imagine the level of perfect mastery of his sport Ali displayed. One of the greatest men who ever lived. He was INSPIRING to so many. Ali IS the greatest. You will never again see such mastery of a sport. Freakishly good perfection.

RIP Champ. I will miss you. One of those people who you always knew was walking among us.....always thought would be walking among us. A landmark of our lives has passed.

Today I feel very hurt .... The passing of a GREAT MAN. Today the world has changed........

What a loss! Ali was indeed bigger than life. He was (and IS)The Greatest. I was so saddened last night as I awaited news of his condition, hoping for yet another victory by The Greatest. Goodness, Lord, accept him in your kingdom and good graces.

He was indeed The Greatest. At my age, almost 55, he was the first champ I can remember.

Given his long-term fight with Parkinson's Disease, it may have been a blessing.

Yet I will mourn his passing.

    Heartfelt Condolences to his family.

    Sad news

I was sad to learn about this news. He was always a fighter, even when he was no longer able to box.

Here is an old song that I haven't heard in ages:

I can still hear him and Howard Cosell going at it.

He was the Legend........the GREATEST .

Sad day indeed.......but he fought his Parkinson's like the champ he was.

I still remember him lighting the Olympic Torch, when he could barely stand.

The man lived life to the fullest...........no one could ask for more.
