Driving a car in a different state?

So I'm moving to Oklahoma and I need to know if I'm able to take one of my parents' three cars while my parents still live in Texas. My name is on all cars indicating that I can drive them, but it's still under their names as owners. So can I? If so, what do we do to make this possible?

Sure, at least in the short term.

But if you are moving to OK permanently, you will need to swap your licence for a local state one within a certain time period. Once you get a local address set up etc.

So........ If you have a full valid drivers license and the car is properly insured and has proper license plates and you have permission to drive the car, you can drive it in any state and/or anywhere you want to drive it.

So.....When you get to OK. and establish residency, you will have to get an OK drivers license, and your folks will have to get an OK title and license plates for the car and they/you will have to ask the insurer if the insurance will be valid in OK. So....Not all insurance companies are licensed to do business in all U.S. states. So

So. The "so generation who have no clue as to grammar...So

Why would you even have to ask?
