I don't know of any man who is totally opposed to women having body hair. I'm not. I always tell any girlfriend I have at the time that they should feel no obligation to shave, but they do anyways. I think women are the primary pressure on other women to shave.

The Department of Men Are Allowed To Be Hairy But When Women Don't Remove Their Natural Body Hair It's Gross And Disgusting says so. That's why.
(in other words, quit complaining about imaginary problems)

Because girls grow up watching movies and seeing magazines where women shave and talk about shaving. And men also see these and it makes some of them anal about it. But there are some men who don't care. And there are some women who think "I'm not shaving today"! And then they wear shorts and they're female friend mentions THEY haven't shaved they're legs, the said girl gets embarrassed, goes home, and immediately shaves.
Its how the world is today. In the old days, skinny women were considered unhealthy and curvy and very curvy women were desirable. Now it's all abs and the smallest waist. In the old days, tan skin meant you worked outside and were poorer. Pale skin meant you were such enough to lock yourself away from the sun and was desirable. Now they've even created fake tans. All these ideas come from the billboards and ads and celebrities people are obsessed with. This is alsk why some think women are obligated to shave and tan and get the best body shape and just be perfect

It is totally societies doing that it is seen as default or the norm for women to be shaven. However, I believe women should do what makes them feel best. This choice may depend on how much they prioritise hair removal over many other important things because it is a time sink. It may depend on what makes them feel more attractive or what is more comfortable. shaving can cause all sorts of problems like ingrown hairs which can become infected and you are at a higher risk of STIs. All things to consider.
In my opinion, it is absolutely our own decision whether male or female. Your partner should not expect you to change your body if you don't want to. And the same applies if they shave and say " I did it for you so you should do it for me too". Relationships don't work like that. Our body autonomy is not something that anyone has a right to intervene with or tell you what is the "right way" to have your body hair.
The same goes if you like to shave and your partner tell you they prefer a bit of hair. It's your body so it's your choice. End of.

That is the problem with society. Its not that We are not allowed to be that way either it is just that starting at a young age it is in bedded into our heads that women are supposed to be pretty. We have princess dress up for little girls, play make up, wash out hair dye. Our biggest role model as a child (that is a toy) is barbie. This is the way women are "supposed" to be in this world. I say whatever you look like embrace it because there is and will never be another you. If someone doesn't like it their loss. Its a hard thing to do to not worry what others think but that day will come and the world will be a better place.

Because women put that stigma on themselves and each other. Studies show that most people (publicly) do not even notice when women do not shave, and most hairy men don't mind a hairy woman. The men I know that hate hair on women also shave themselves. I tell my wife she doesn't need to shave, but she does anyway.

Most men think women look nicer without body hair. I don't know what women think looks better or women because I'm not a woman. If women decide they want men to shave their body hair, then it would be more equal.

In what regard do you speak of? Professionally? Or for the purposes of attracting a mate? Because if it's the latter, I'll have you know that WOMEN have standards on MEN that WE do not have on YOU as well. If it's professionally, then again, there are standards that men have to uphold that you women are completely oblivious to because you don't have to worry about them, you're just listing one thing that pisses you off and trying to use that as evidence that women have the short straw. Well, you don't. Socially, economically, professionally, the odds are stacked in your favor across the board. Count yourself lucky. Sick of hearing women complain about how the world is so unfair to them for being poor oppressed women.

People are attracted to whatever they're attracted to. Most men don't like hairy women but I can't speak for all of them. As a man, I don't know if women find hairy men attractive. If they don't, they're not obligated to date them.

My wife's hair is very sexy and wild. In my opinion, going completely shaven is a cop out. There are so many stylistic choices to make. As long body odor is taken care of armpit hair can be nice, leg hair is ignorable. I don't ignore the peach fuzz either. Bottom line: it doesn't really matter unless the person you're with cares, but you have the right to care about theirs as well. You can hold out on doing it unless they make concessions, etc.
