Transferring tracfone number and minutes to another tracfone?

It's easy if the new Tracfone has not yet been activated. You go to the Tracfone website and do the Activate...Upgrade process. Then over the next couple of hours, occasionally try powering off (fully) then on the new phone, try to make a call, etc. until it works. (the power off & on makes the phone contact a cell tower for Tracfone updates).

If the new phone has already been activated then you need to have Tracfone move the number and days/minutes. Go to some of the Tracfone web pages like Buy Airtime and BYOP until you see a box pop up for a text chat. Ask the customer service representative to do it for you.

For either, you will need the MEID of each phone (aka serial number) which can be found usually near the end of the phone's settings in a settings group called something like Phone Info.

If the phone doesn't have a sim card, call tracfone customer service.
