Do you think that Turkey joining the E.U. makes about as much sense as Japan joining NATO?

Update:

As Turkey is most definitely in ASIA!

    Less sense.

    All the leaders in Europe should be impeached for letting that idea to occur.

    If your logic made sense, then what about Cyprus?

    But let's pretend that Cyprus is not in the EU, I'd love Japan to join the EU, who cares where it sits.

    Said all that, I would support the idea of impeaching the ones that suggested Turkey joining the EU.
