Shaving, and even hair removal cream, will make the hairs look darker and thicker! If you can afford to go get it waxed professionally, that is going to be better than the wax strips, because they're going to be able to remove it properly and remove more hairs that the wax strips you buy does. If you can't afford to do that, then the wax strips will work, you might just not get ALL the hairs! But yes, waxing is always better because it removes the whole follicle instead of the surface hairs. It will grow back, but not as dark

try waxing strips hun. Not just before your going out though as the area may be a bit red for a while afterwards.
