How much does it cost to keep a ferret each month?

Cost varies. I spend around $10-15 a month. I use stove pellets for litter ($5 for a 40 pound bag) and feed earthborn kibble. Toys are an extra cost. I make my own which is much cheaper than buying. Vet bills are another cost.

That depends on a lot of factors.
Brand of food
Size of bag of food
How much the ferret eats
How many toys you buy
The type of litter you buy
The amount of litter bought
How much litter is used
Bedding (unless you plan to use fleece or no bedding)
Emergency vet visits (if needed)
etc
When I had my 3 ferrets I spent on average $40-$60 a month unless one had to go to the vet.

It depends on what you feed for the most part. I spend maybe $10-$15 a month(on three ferrets, I might add). I feed raw though, so I buy in bulk and spend $60-$90 every six months or so. Feed them trash and you'll be paying thousands in vet bills later, so it's cost efficient in more ways than just good food.
$35 on puppy pads which I get about every three months, which isn't cost efficient in the least, and you are better off with wood stove pellets. lol
I snag a new toy here and there(usually under $5), blankets and the like usually about $2-$3 at walmart on the fleece blankets and you can make them into hardy hammocks.
