How to stay calm while being yelled at?
I get yelled at a lot and told things that are very hard to hear, I need advice on how to allow someone to just be upset with me without me freaking out, anytime anyone has a minor complaint I breakdown and cry and feel I have failed and there is no hope, how do I allow someone to be upset with me and tell me about my flaws without reacting in a defensive way and then having a meltdown?

First of all - they really shouldn't be yelling. It is hard not to yell when your kid does something bad though.
Anyway, If it isn't your parents just listen as if they are talking about someone else. See if you can identify criticism that is true. If you can - when they are done - tell them you will work on it. If none of the stuff is true - or it is but you have an excuse - no boss wants to hear the excuse. They just want to hear that you will fix it.

Evaluate whether the persons are actually *yelling* at you, or if they are asking you to change some behavior. If they are asking you to change some behavior, make sure you know what is expected, and if you are going to have trouble doing it, ask for help.
Try and see it from their point of view.
Call it a learning experience and say thank you.
