Need advice from denture/partial denture wearers?

I was quoted 18k to get my all my upper teeth crowned, capped , root canals etc. The dentist quoted me 6k (after insurance) for a full upper denture. It seemed high, so I asked if they could just use novocain instead of being put under and it saves 3k. I have zero ***** in my blood so I'm going novocain. My question is, would it be worth it to get my back 4 teeth capped with a partial for 6k, or will it not matter and get the upper denture for 3k?

    I suggest that you shop around and try to get some better prices. These are just eye-watering.
