Should guys chase girls?

Guys absolutely should NOT be chasing women! That being said, it is the guy's responsibility to set up the date, and make definite plans! He asked you if you were free this weekend, and you said, "yes", but he did not respond. He dropped the ball! Setting up an initial date, and making arrangements to meet, is not generally considered "chasing". It would be considered chasing, if you said you were not available, and he kept asking you to do something, after repeated rejections. It would also be considered chasing if he was constantly texting and calling you, showing up where you work, and acting needy and clingy. He does not appear to be doing any of this. So basically, the ball is in his court, until he calls to set up an actual time and place to get together! There is no reason why you can't shoot him a text or email, to see how he's doing, and let him know that you were looking forward to seeing him. Maybe he got busy, or something came up. If you like him, get in touch with him.

What the heck, just go for it. As long as there is a possibility that you might go on a date, why not? My view on actually liking or loving someone, is that you keep on liking them, or loving them despite factors against you two. If you try your best, at least you can say that you gave it your all.
