How can Yahoo ask us to "invite" our friends to use Y!A, when they tried to drive us all away by ditching voting a few years ago? Idiots!?

Despite what one answer says,YA has done little to hang onto the decent users they had, making it unreasonable to expect us to subject our friends to the same mess we are putting up with just now.Yes,removing voting did much to cause some users to leave & didn't do anything to stop so called cheating.I know for certain that at least one very well known top user here has more than one account with which they report &TD those they don't like.Letting trolls and spammers run riot also has a definite effect on making the site unattractive to would be members.

They still want people to use their site because they want to keep their jobs. That is all the staff at Yahoo care about is taking care of themselves. They should focus on adding more features before they drive even more people away. Which is something they obviously don't want.

    1) Apples & oranges - inviting others to use the site has no relationship to voting

    2) Removing voting didn't drive people away (after all, YOU are still here, and so am I)

    3) Calling people idiots - or morons - is a violation. Just saying.

Yahoo wants more business, more clicks, more revenue. If we invite our friends to use the site, that is what they will get. So that - logically - is what they want us to do.
