Can you write an open letter explaining how sorry to are to the person you assaulted and those whom your actions affected? You could offer to make a donation to a related charity (for example, domestic violence) and work to build up your reputation again. I'm afraid it won't come overnight, but it will come if you work hard enough to repair some of the damage you caused. Good luck!

Kill yourself. You ASSAULTED an innocent person. They did nothing to you (nothing warranting an assault) and you could have damaged their LIFE QUALITY. Instead of puzzyfooting around about forgiving YOURSELF, why not get a heart and try to earn the forgiveness of the person you brutally attacked. I hope you go to jail or kill yourself.

You learn from it and rebuild your life. Be a good person and you will improve your reputation. Balance your wrongdoings with good deeds.
