Blood posioning? help!! (See attached image)?

Took this picture right now. The wound isnt really bad but its a little inflamed, and the red stripe might be a sign of blood posioning? Do i need to see a doctor?

    Blood poisoning is when bacteria enter and infect the blood stream. If you have reason to believe that you have blood poisoning, you need to see your doctor immediately. It is listed as a serious condition.

    Wash with clean water.

    Disinfect with hydrogen peroxide (or alcohol to dry it out).

    Cover with Polysporin.
