Should I replace bathroom floor with tile or use laminate that continues into bedroom?

    There is a higher "slip" factor with tiles, plus they hold the cold, especially in winter.

    Tile, tile tile...

    I asked a contractor for advice and he suggested laminate instead of hardwood.

    I have been happiest with tile in my bathrooms. If you are talking about a master bathroom, I can understand continuing but water and laminate don't always go together says the woman who is about to replace her family room, kitchen and living room with hardwood instead of the laminate she put in fifteen years ago.

    My tile is holding up just fine.
