Who/when decided where the "keys" should be, on a keyboard ?

    I bought a small shelf and put nails into the wooden piece below it hense designed a place to hang all keys. We have tractors and other vehicals, many locked buildings, no one ever loses keys this way. It's not always organized, but at least in one spot. :)

    it's actually a design that slows down typing, there is a better one for electronic keyboards called DVORAK and also I've seen keyboards where it is ZWERTY

    Well, the keys on the keyboard, referred to as QWERTY were made back when we used typewriters to prevent the keys from jamming, created by Christopher Latham Sholes
