Can a dentist extract a tooth that has been broken off at the gum line or will it require oral surgery?

They can try - I had one and she got it out - hassle is if it breaks when they are doing the extraction. Anyway the dentist will look at it and tell you what he or she thinks is possible.

A dentist will do oral surgery if hes removing a tooth and it breaks he'll get it out and stich the gum up.
