Friends dad uses some website to hijack my friends texts...?
So my friend found out his dad is hijacking his texts somehow so he can read them...(My friend is 19 BTW, so this is illegal, my friend is also paying for his own phone service). My friends phone service says there is no way for this to happen so i dont think they are aware... But is there someway to encrypt the texts so that they can only be read with a phone that has a certain IP/ID?

Your friend needs to change all of his passwords to be different passwords, not using real dictionary words (i.e. x10F12_@ttQ) and start uninstalling apps from the device. Most likely, his dad has figured out his passwords and is just logging onto his account to view the texts from the company website.

Intercepting texts is not possible without cooperation from the carrier, access to the phone or carrier account, or installation of malware with physical access to the phone.
