Am i binding safely?
So i'm 14 years old and genderfluid (born female),but when i feel like a boy i bind my chest,i've only started doing this recently and i don't know if its safe or not.Because i'm still in the closet and i dont exactly have the money for a real binder I first bind the most part of my chest with a stretchy thin scarf and then i put on a sports bra, this flattens out most of my chest since my breasts aren't that big anyway,i can still breathe perfectly and it doesnt really hurt, but when it does hurt i just adjust it and then its better. Is this a safe way to bind? please help me and if you want please give some tips.
sorry for the long question

That should be safe. You can also try layering sports bras, with the top one on backwards.
If you can sew, making your own binder is easy. You need a tank top pattern, 3 or 4 layers of Spandex and some Velcro. Trim it short to the bottom of your rib cage for comfort and put the Velcro on the side seams for adjustment.

There are binder exchange programs you may qualify for.
