No. Because god is a non-existent cult creature.
Where is ANY legitimate evidence for a Creator? A creator, in the sense of a BuyBull-god?
Absolutely ZERO evidence for that.
As for the BuyBull itself, it is a ridiculous, bronze-age cult book, and nothing more. It is evidence of nothing. In fact, it is so chock-full of ridiculous, glaring errors and contradictions, that even suggesting it came from a universe-creating god is utter nonsense
In fact, believers have given us the very opposite of that. By their own "scientific method" - they have proven god's non-existence.
Over thousands of years, MILLIONS of believers have tried proving their god exists. They have ALWAYS had exactly the same result EVERY TIME: EPIC FAIL. NO PROOF. NO GOD.
This is one of the most thorough, consistent, continued TEST-RETEST-RETEST models known to mankind. And it always results in the very same conclusion 100% of the time. NO GOD, NO PROOF, NON-EXISTENCE.
Believers have actually done a wonderful, even REMARKABLE job proving their own god's non-existence. Atheists can only acknowledge that and agree with them.

Interestingly, though an atheist for all my life, once my Catholic girlfriend convinced me to go to Mass with her every week, I find myself believing in God during those times and I really get into it to the point that I have memorized the responses that the parishioners do and I find that I now do it too. It lasts for, at most, a few hours and then the doubts overwhelm it all. I'm beginning to think that the fact that she's a hypnotist may have something to do with it as she's got me reading the Bible now and, after each time, these same affects happen. She tells me it's the "Holy Spirit" working in me and, now, this is what I think, even though it doesn't make any sense to me.

The only way primitive religion exists today is through the child abuse of forcing it into very, very young children but thanks to better education and growing intellects so many teens are able to discover the truth, throw off the indoctrination and step into the real world!
Atheism is not a conscious decision or a belief but a realisation, those that cannot escape remain prisoners of their conditioning!
The first person to produce a single tiny little piece of verifiable evidence for any god will become world famous and mega rich!
Academia states that in the absence of any sort of evidence of the existence of something it must be deemed not to exist until verifiable evidence is found - thus god is held not to exist pending some sort of verifiable evidence.
The bible is what is called "Faction” A fictional story set in a factual time and place. Thus the time, place and real historical characters are all correct but the fictional characters and stories are not!
There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!
There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!
He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record?
Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!
Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!
At best he was an amalgam of those others but almost certainly never existed!
Not one word of it is contemporary with the period and was not written until several hundred years after the period the story is set in!! How did the apostles write their books more than a hundred years after they would have been dead?
Christianity is an invention of the Italians and that is why it came from the Holy ROMAN Catholic church!
Please realize that those claims for the Old historians are worthless since they were not even born until long after everyone in the stories would have been so long dead!
Josephus AD 37 – AD 100
Tacitus AD 56 – AD 120
Suetonius - 69 – 130 AD
Pliny the Younger, 61 AD – 112 AD
Justin Martyr (Saint Justin) AD103–165 AD
Lucian - AD 120 -180 AD but he was hostile to Christianity and openly mocked it.
Pamphilius AD 240-309 AD
Eusebius AD 263 – 339 AD
Photius AD 877 – 886 AD
Thallus - But there are no actual record of him except a fragment of writing which mentions the sack of Troy [109 BC] Showing that he was clearly not alive in biblical times.
Some even try to use Seneca. 4 BCE – 65 CE but as a Stoic Philosopher he opposed religion yet made not a single mention of a Jesus or Christianity!
Even funnier is trying to claim Celsus AD ? – 177 AD Who said that Jesus was a Jew who’se mother was a poor Jewish girl whose husband, who was a carpenter, drove her away because of her adultery with a Roman soldier named Panthera. She gave birth to an illegitimate child named Jesus. In Egypt, Jesus became learned in sorcery and upon his return presented himself as a god.

Yes, I believe in God, because He created all things, as He says He did, in the Bible. God cannot lie and God is love.

I believe in God because He's my best friend.
Also, I think it's kind of ridiculous, in my opinion anyway, to say that the world started with a Big Bang & then suddenly humans popped out of an explosion.
My opinion, but I think it's highly unrealistic.

No - in my long life I’ve never, ever, seen, heard, felt, thought, sensed, or been told anything whatsoever to make me think that a god exists.
And even if I had, I wouldn’t waste my time or energy worshipping the jealous, insecure, vengeful, narcissistic, impotent, violent, unfair, selfish, cruel, indecisive, capricious god described in the bible.

Yes.
I believe in God because
+ People I trust and admire taught me he exists
+ I have experienced His presence in my life
+ I have seen God's presence in the lives of others
+ I can see God's existence in His Creation
I understand this may not be enough for others so I refer you to modern physics, mathematics, and philosophy.
++ First Cause ++
Newton's Third Law of Motion states "For every action there is equal and opposite reaction." Every action in the universe was caused by a prior equal and opposite reaction.
If we logically follow each and every action and reaction back to the beginning then logically there has to be a first action without a prior equal and opposite reaction. Modern astrophysicists call this event the Big Bang.
This first action was completely independent of outside forces. This action was God, the un-caused cause, creating the universe. This proof also fulfills the principle of Occam's Razor.
By the way, it was Georges Lemaître (1894–1966), a Belgian Catholic priest and professor of physics and astronomy, who proposed what became known as the Big Bang theory of the origin of the Universe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georges_Lema%C3%AEtre
++ Fine Tuning of the Universe ++
A universe in which life has a chance to exist can only happen in where a couple of dozen universal constants coincide, including:
+ Boltzmann's Constant
+ Cosmic Proton/Photon Ratio
+ Cosmological Constant
+ Electromagnetic Fine-Structure Constant
+ Electron or Proton Unit Charge
+ Gravitational Attraction Constant
+ Gravitational Fine-Structure Constant
+ Hubble Constant
+ Maximum velocity
+ Minimum interval of space
+ Minimum Mass of the Universe
+ Minimum unit of time
+ Permittivity of Free Space
+ Planck's Constant
+ Rest Mass of an Electron
+ Rest Mass of a Proton
+ Strong Nuclear Force Coupling Constant
+ Total Visible Rest Mass
+ Weak Fine-Structure Constant
+ Weak Force Coupling Constant
A couple of percent difference in any one of these constants would make the universe completely uninhabitable. Roger Penrose, a peer of Hawking, calculated that the chance of a universe capable of supporting life as we know it as one part in 10 raised to the power of 10 raised to the power of 123 (this means this fine tuning was mathematically impossible to have happened all by itself).
This fine tuning of the universe, while not an absolute proof of God, can be used to help prove the existence of God beyond a reasonable doubt (which is my claim).

I also suggest you read Robert Spitzer's book "New Proofs for the Existence of God: Contributions of Contemporary Physics and Philosophy"
With love in Christ.

No. I am an atheist because there is zero evidence to support the idea of a God.

After spending just 10 years on this planet I discovered that all religious people were full of ca ca wee wee. And worse.
It was a Catholic nun who drove me to atheism,
and I never wrote to thank her... (W.C. Fields)
