I have brown discharge in my underwear??? (Not my period) BTW: I haven't had my first period?
Yesterday, when I went to the bathroom, I saw that I had some dark brownish discharge where my vagina is. I put a panty liner on, and a few hours later I changed it for a pad, and went to sleep.
But, when I woke up there was only a little bit of the brown discharge, and I have had no more for a few hours, so this can't be my period. Does anyone know what it could mean? Does it mean that my first period is coming, or is it something else? I really don't know because my mum and I never had "the talk".
By the way, I'm 12 years old, and I've haven't had my first period, but I have had discharge for 2 years-ish. I have a lot of pubic hair, and I shave my armpits. I also have A cup boobs.

Honey, when I was your age, I thought the same thing. I'm pretty sure it's your period. If not, just ask your mother or consult with your doctor about it if you're so worried. However, I'm pretty positive it's your period. When I had my first period, I thought it was brown discharge, but it was just my period. Check with your mother first, and if you're still worried, ask her to take you to the doctor. Pretty sure you've already started puberty.
