Are the "Black Lives Matters" Protests Actually Helping Donald Trump to Get Elected?

The vast majority of people in this country, of all races, understand injustice, and they are fine with the concept of free speech and the right to peaceably assemble and petition for a redress of grievances, but they will not tolerate murder and destruction of property by thugs. If Obama and Clinton do not act forcefully to condemn such criminal activity, do you think people will decide that we need a change, and vote for Trump?

We have a historical parallel. In the 1960's, various cities, such as Watts, Detroit, Newark, Chicago, Washington, D.C., were aflame in race riots, and the Johnson Administration gave the appearance of being totally incapable of doing anything about it. As a result, in a close election, the Republican "law and order" candidate, Richard Nixon, was elected.

    No. The less educated and racist Trump supporters can claim otherwise, but Hillary still has double digit leads in almost every key state.

    Everything we've seen the BLM and anti-Trump protesters do is making the left look like very young, mindless, pre-1970 hippies and trouble makers.
