Paranormal - I was in a rented house that was built around 1950 so was not that old. One night I was on the PC and I just felt as if something had walked into the room. I asked my partner if she noticed it too, and she said yes there is something here (because she is also sensitive). So I asked it that I knew it was there, and could it make it's presence known to us. Immediately the lights went out! I tried the lightswitch, but it wasn't that. The power had been turned off at the fusebox in the hall. I turned it back on, and sat back at the PC. A few minutes later - that was also turned off - at the fusebox, followed buy the water heater when I used that, and finally the cooker when I used that. It was all turned off when I was using it.

I said "Thank you, and now stop it" and it never happened again. I called out an electrician the next day - and no faults were found. Nor could the guy explain it.

Strange - I've been in a flat with my partner and there was a sudden fog in the room. It was sudden and all over, not just floating in. It appeared and felt thick. It lasted for about 2 minutes - then just disappeared again. There was no cooking or hot water or showers, and was mid morning.

Creepy - I had a job to replace a door on a church Crypt. The floor was slippery and black with a sticky goop. This goop was running down the walls onto the floor. The only thing on the other side of the wall was the graveyard - so I was standing in decomposing goo. That's pretty creepy, but what made it worse is that the door had been shattered into pieces - from the inside, and I was in there alone doing this as it was getting dark and rainy.

Well, there was this one time I was with 3 other friends and our dog, and we were all in the van on a road trip. Our van broke down in front of this abandoned amusement park. We decided to go exploring and we ran into the proprietor who complained that ghosts had scared all his customers away and that he was going to lose the park. We wanted to help him solve this mystery, so we started investigating. We ran around a lot and got chased by pirate ghosts, but as it turns out the ghosts were just Old Man Withers with a flashlight and a tape recorder. He was the proprietor's old business partner and just wanted to buy the property for cheap by scaring the customers away. And he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for us meddling kids. Anyway, Old Man Withers was arrested and the amusement park went back into business. The proprietor rewarded us with big hoagie sandwiches and free passes to the park. And that's my story, believe it or not.

Yes, according to the observers, my mom and my brother, the passengers at the time were convinced a paranormal event happened when I immediately averted a car pile up on the freeway by pulling into the dirt shoulder at speed. To them it looked like psychic ability because it happened so fast. I just heard the crash starting from my left rear. No psychic stuff going on. Illegally I kept moving because I had a plane to catch.
