Heavy Period!!! I really need help !!!?
Hey girls. So I've had my period for 1 year now ( I'm 14 ) and I'm starting high school next year. In middle school, I always seemed to leak through my pads and clothes. And the weird thing is , my very first period was heavy and 10 days long. Then the following periods were super light and lasted 2-3 days. Then one day , my periods got heavy. Ever since then , I've hand heavy periods. I was just wondering , if you could give me way that you LIGHTENED and/or shortened your period. You don't know how desperate I am. I'm tired of the gush and the heavy bleeding and cramps and UGHHH. Pleas help me.

ask your parents to take Birth Control pills, they tend to be a big help with women worldwide with heavier periods. However, you want to remember to ask because Birth control is not something you can just SNEAK, requires being taken daily at a PRECISE TIME. Say you take it @ 6:30 you have to take it at that time EVERYDAY for a couple of years or months ...depends

Some methods of birth control can help with heavy periods. You might consider menstrual cups, they can hold more than your average tampons or pads. or use a combination of tampon and pad.
