My dog is on 100 mg atopica. Can I just stop giving it to her or do I ween her off?

    What did the vet say? Unless the condition she was taking it for has been resolved, then she needs to be on it. You cannot just stop any drug without the advice of the vet, or the condition may just come back. It's a steroidal type drug, and as such could have an adverse effect if just stopped. The vet is the one that you should be posing the question to - do you really trust the opinion of kids who are bored of their summer vacation already?

    Never guess or take casual advice about prescription drugs (there are no vets on Yahoo Answers). Instead, please call your vet tomorrow amd ask.
