I love the show, "Suits". My question is, what makes, Harvard Lawyers so special or is it just the Hollywood perception?

    It's not a "hollywood perception".

It's just a gimmick for the show. No law firm in real life would "only" hire graduates of a specific school.

Look at Gloria Allred, one of or "the" most popular civil rights lawyers in the US = she went to Loyola Law School in LA. It's an OK school. No one says "oh, that's the best school you can go to."

    - Loyola Law is considered the 4th best law school in LA/OC.

There's nothing special about them; save that they got into Harvard. And getting in is the hardest part.

It's been speculated and studied that once students get into Harvard, they're very unlikely to fail out. The link below is to an article about grade inflation there. Meaning, their graduates aren't necessarily the best and brightest.
