Do you think it is an advantage for the dem nominee to know the GOP nominee's running mate BEFORE they have to choose their own? Why?

    Not really.

    But it does give them time to laugh at who the GOP nominee chooses.

    Makes little difference.

    People do not vote based on who the VP pick is.

    He isn't announcing today, making this question as premature as it was yesterday.

    And since nobody votes for a candidate based on the VP choice , though some vote against one based on it, my answer to your question is "depends on who he picks".
