My question is do my sisters and I get a portion if the house is sold? And what steps do I take any advice?
After my dad s side of the family forced my dad in a nursing home and forced me and my sisters out of my grandparents home (by the way my grandparents died and left the home to everyone in the family so if one needs a place to live like if someone was to be homeless it will go one of us to live in) so after they kicked us out the house they didn t want nothing to do with the house and let it go and now they want to sell it. After my dad s passing his portion of a piece of land the house sits on goes to my sisters and I...and the house they want to sell so now they are selling the house without us knowing. We were served papers to go to court. I need help with this do anyone have advice on how I should go about this? I believe that money should go to my sisters and I.....

How old are you and your sisters?
You need to know specifically what it said in your grandmothers will regarding the property. The WILL can not just say she left it to everybody, it would have to specify a percentage and names. I would imagine that your grandmother left the house equally to HER children, NOT to the grand children. In regards to your fathers portion his portion doesn't just default to you, his kids there could be a couple of things going on like it could state in your grandmothers will that if one of the benefactors of her home should pass, like your father, that the remaining siblings (her children) basically equally inherit his portion and or check your fathers WILL.
In either case you should consult with an estate attorney. There are several free legal sites where you can post questions like you do on here but only attorneys respond. I have tried AVVO.com and I find them helpful you should post this question on there, but you need to be more detailed with your post/question.

You need a lawyer. It won't be cheap. I paid a percentage of the estate to have my husband's will probated.
Your grandparents didn't leave the home to "everyone in the family." No competent lawyer would write a will that way. People were named. It was likely left to their children. It sounds like, as your father's heirs, you will get a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the property.. As you have gotten papers from the court, obviously they are not selling it without your knowledge.
You think that your grandparents intended you and your sisters to be the only beneficiaries from the sale of their home? I really doubt that, not if they left it to "everyone in the family," like you said. They likely meant for it to be divided among their children.
