Why are Jews into defending free speech and other rights?

    For centuries, as god's hated people, Jews and Gypsies were persecuted.

    All they had was what they were allowed, could carry, and their Speech.

    They were sold the same land as the Arabs, by the British.

    And had to resort to Terrorism to keep it.

    We will not get into who owns the media.

    "Free Speech" is tolerated by the Powerful. It does not exist if the Majority does not approve.

    I would argue that anyone, both Jewish and not, who cares about democratic ideals would be into defending free speech.

    Do you mean the same Jews who pressured half the countries in Europe into criminalizing any discussion or analysis of the Holocaust?

    Same reason anyone would. Those who wish to take away peoples freedom should die.
