Why is God belief so important in USA politics. Surely believing in things without evidence (faith) is bad for making decisions for all.?

1) Religion is important in politics because the vast majority of the population is religious.
2) Moral decisions are subjective, and are made without evidence. And moral decisions are the only political decisions that are based entirely on religion.
So, as soon as you figure out a way to prove that murder is morally wrong, then we will be happy to set aside our religious beliefs in favor of science in legislating behavior. Until then, your views on legislation are just as "religious" as anyone else.

Becuase those who control and made christianity, jewish people, have indoctrinated it into today society to where almost over half the populous believes it. So its simple, believe and advocate something the rest of the people believe, and you have control.
