If I chose to be single forever until I am dead, would you consider me to be a waste?

I am 40 years old, I have no wife, no kids, I don't own a house or land (thanks to spending 9 years paying off my student loans). I was married once but that marriage lasted only 7 months.

I have a girlfriend who lives in Thailand and I never saw her in 1 year. If I stay single for the rest of my life until death, would you consider me to be a waste? Just remember, all human relationships are insustainable.

1st off it's unsustainable. 2nd that's a lie you tell yourself to make you feel better. relationships are hard work, and if you think this way your not working at then hense feel this way. 3rd you'd be whats termed as a bachelor, and that is your choice. If you feel that not having kids and passing your gene's down, thats your right. It's not a waste if you don't feel like it is. It's a life choice that many people make. If it's right for you, then stay with it.
