What are some good tank-mates for a nale crowntail betta?

I bought my betta yesterday and cycled it for 2 weeks. He is now in my 10 gallon tank, filtered, heated, and has hiding places!

I am thinking about adding a nerite snail!

Any ideas?

    A nerite snail or 2 would be fine. You could also try 6 harlequin rasboras,

    or, if you have sand substrate or natural type smooth gravel. 5 Kulli loches could be a fun addition.

    10 gallons, hmm. You could add like 3 or 4 corycats. Or you could add like 6ish neon tetras. A snail and a few shrimp would be okay as well.
