So Mary was probably around 12 years old, but there was no physical contact. She became pregnant from the Holy Spirit - a spirit has no body. So she probably wasn't even aware of when she first became pregnant. So it is difficult to call this rape. Mary was considered an eternal virgin.

First, God would not rape a human. He would not treat a woman in such a horrible way.
