Is the only reason the U.S deals with any crap going on in the middle East Because of oil? Or are we just really ignorant, or even both?

Ignorance. The US actually gets almost no oil from the Middle East. What imported oil we still buy comes mostly from Latin America or Africa.

No, that is not the only reason, and it is not ignorance. Oil IS partly the reason, and anyone dumb enough to think that oil has nothing to do with US national security is an idiot. It was not however due to "The Bush's had business connections to several oil companies." Our national security is tied directly to having a stable supply of oil.

No, oil is not the only reason, although it is an important one. You're somewhat naive about diplomacy, but you can fix that by reading.

no, its because we're the world police... duh. we are the best nation and everyone knows it, thats why they hate us. If we weren't here to fix everyones problems the world would've ended long ago..... long live MURICA!!!
