Would you survive a Zombie Outbreak in Canada?
According to a recent ranking that will put CapitalGentleman more at ease, the Yukon is the safest place in Canada to survive a zombie apocalypse.

Many organizations use "zombie outbreak" as a hypothetical event to see how ready people are to survive more realistic disasters, and could easily be replaced with "flood", " tsunami", "wildfire", and others.
So in the event that a zombie outbreak were possible, what are your thoughts regarding surviving such an event in your part of the country?

The logical thing to do to survive a zombie outbreak would be to go to where less people are, right? Northern Canada would be perfect for that, although it might also help to have natural resources around to help you survive (i.e. animals, plants/trees, water, etc.). I don't know enough about Yukon terr. to say it's suitable but I do know not a lot of people live up there.
In my case, I live in a city but not far from forests and mountains. If I could escape the city I could probably make it ok.

Well, Canada is very different from the world that I live in. If push comes to shove, it's possible. I've spent a few days living on an island in a Scottish loch. Tsunamis, floods and wildfire wouldn't be much of a problem.

That you've made two statements which are not consistent.
The people rating Yukon the best place to survive zombies, do so because of the lack of people.
This is the same factor that makes you least likely to survive breaking a leg let alone a real disaster there.
"Many organizations" use zombie apocalypses, because they don't wish to spread fears of terrorism.
It is plainly stupid to claim all disasters are the same, when they are obviously not. Floods, fires, etc... all have different factors.

I hope when you get older you will find out that zombies are not actually real.
